Welcome to our new townhouse. We are renting it for the next 8-9 months but that’s not the exciting news I’ve been talking about. Y’all this makes me SO EXCITED to write!!! We are building our next home!!! Since the beginning of our home search, I have always been intrigued with the thought of new construction. I mean who wouldn’t want to pick out all of the details of their future home?!? We did go under contract for about a day on a new construction house and had to terminate because they weren’t willing to do something they told us they would. That left a bad taste in Bradley’s mouth and after that he said “no new construction”.
At the beginning of 2020 we started the home search. After going under contract 4 times and having to terminate 4 times, we finally found and bought a pre-existing house. Well we all know what happened with that… if you don’t you can read about it here… and now we have come full circle and are back to new construction! We are officially under contract on a pile of dirt! haha
So until our house is ready in 8 to 9 months, we will be living in this townhouse rental. I am so excited to share the whole process with y’all! I’ve already started designing different rooms and I am loving the whole vibe! Make sure to keep your eye out for these updates because there’s going to be a lot of them… and you don’t want to miss what color cabinets we pick. 😉 Also here’s a little sneak peek of what our future home will look like.
