baby girl nursery reveal

I have been so excited to share our nursery, but I wanted to get it 99% done before I did. It is officially 99% done and I am in love. It has quickly become my favorite room in the whole house and I hope Rowen loves it as much as I do. I’M OBSESSED WITH THE WALLPAPER! It’s kind of funny because when Bradley and I first found out we were expecting, the nursery was one of the first things I started thinking about. Now that she is almost here, I’ve realized that she probably won’t even sleep in it for a while… we plan to have her sleep in a bassinet in our room for the first bit. I put so much pressure on myself to get it done, but realistically I have lots of time until she actually uses it!

Like everything else, I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on her nursery. I knew the crib and rocking chair were going to be the most expensive items, so I tried to save on all the other pieces. My Mom gave me my sister’s old tall dresser (thanks mom!) that we put all of her clothes in, and I found a simple changing table on Amazon for around $100 to change her! I put bins under the changing table to hold all of her extra necessities (diapers, creams, swaddles, burp cloths, medicine, etc). Bradley’s Mom gifted us our crib and that was a BIG HELP! With the dresser and crib being gifted, we spent less than $1,000 on everything else! I would say that is a WIN!

I wanted to keep everything as organized as possible. I found a cube organizer for the closet to hold the rest of the extra stuff and this has been great! I love that we don’t have a ton of stuff just sitting in the closet, everything has a place. I also bought these cubes for the dresser to separate her clothes. I decided to label each drawer with a size (NB, 0-3, 3-6, 6-12) and within each drawer I have long sleeve onesies, short sleeve onesies, footed onesies and pants.

As always, all opinions and text are my own.

xoxo, bre pickett
